Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker - Winter City Boat Escape (2017)

An early version of the script had Poe and Finn sneaking into a First Order-occupied city for a clandestine meeting with a resistance cell. The city was envisioned as a wintery eastern block burg with venice-like canals. A boat chase ensues when the cell is raided and Poe and Finn escape in an ice-breaker hidden in an underground channel that connects to the river. The Art Department provided a location photo of Bilbao, Spain as a reference to paint over for this shot. Needless to say, almost nothing is left of the original photo except the perspective.
